Radio UTD ❤ Texas Music

To support our local Dallas and Texas music and arts community, Radio UTD features local music on air and on our blog as well as through our Pseudo Stereo video and concert series. To learn more about how you can get your music to our audience, check out the descriptions below then submit your tracks to our Local Music rotation.

Local Music Automation slot

Radio UTD has a dedicated slot during a prime time each semester to feature local music and the audio from our Pseudo Stereo sessions as well as occasional special features. Most weeks, the show is automatically programmed by our system for a diverse and unique selection of music that our listeners will love. To listen in, check our show calendar for the current time slot!

If you’d like to submit your music to be played on air, check out the guidelines below then fill out the following form: Local Music Automation Application

  • Texas musicians only
  • Submit all the music you’d like with a link to a place to freely download your tracks (dropbox, google folder, free bandcamp downloads)
  • Try not to send tracks with cursing and non-FCC content as we can’t play it before 10pm. If you do, please make a note of it on the form.
  • We will reach out to let you know what tracks, if any, we select to add to rotation. Submission of music does not guarantee airplay.

Pseudo Stereo Sessions

Pseudo Stereo spotlights Texan artists alongside national bands with acoustic performances on our campus that we film and share with our radio community on YouTube and Facebook. We’ve featured artists such as Langhorne Slim, The Districts, and DFW favorites The Bralettes and Pearl Earl. The sessions are released weekly so subscribe to our YouTube and like us on Facebook for the latest!

If you want to be a part of the series, submit your music here (same link as above!) and indicate your interest. Alternatively, you can email the Local Music Director but we’d prefer if you used the form. We’ll get in contact via the email you provide if we want to set up a session with you.

All events are virtual at this time. Pseudo Stereo slots will be available after Feb. 7 or when in-person classes fully resume*
