Los Angeles based Pat Grossi, aka Active Child is an electronic/chillwave music pioneer. Following the success of his debut album, You Are All I See, released via Vagrant Records, Grossi has opened for synthpop band M83, and has had his song covered by Ellie Goulding, which was later included on her second album, Halcyon.
The mix of his opera-like vocals, analogue synths, and hauntingly beautiful harp sets Grossi apart in an otherwise crowded market. His use of strings and echoing recording pulls you into a day-dream and you are instantly taken away by the subtle nuances in the ambience of his music. For a seemingly easy listen, it takes you on a complex and beautiful experience.
