At first listen, The Last City comes off as a clash of worlds with a folk-leaning lineup but a pop-rock twist to their sound that is at times gritty and at other times light and airy. This is no accident considering the couple who front the band, Adrien and Lizbet Palmer, live their life in the bright and colorful border between cultures and religions. Released last December, The Last City’s debut album explores their experiences around the world and here in Dallas and represents their ongoing mission to use music to educate listeners about appreciating different cultures.
