The young and ambitious Oaktopia Fest, imbedded in the heart of Denton, will be back for its third year. Self-proclaimed as a music, art, poetry, and culture fest, Oaktopia has grown significantly from its humble beginnings back in 2013 to its aggressive 2015 lineup. The bill begins with indie-folk outfit Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, off-tempo indie band, Minus the Bear and LA based producer/singer/bass extraordinaire Thundercats, among other notables, into a handful of beloved local acts such as -topic, Konklin, Kaela Sinclair and so on.
Festivities will take place September 25-27 in downtown Denton. There are a limited amount of 3-day passes left, and luckily for y’all, we got a pair of tickets to give away! Just enter below and come party with us in Denton. Contest only goes until this Saturday. Winners will be announced Monday, September 21st.
