We’ve had a number of psych rock bands through our studios recently but few have taken the genre to new and unique places like Monoculture. With a jazzy flavor and exploration of instruments like the flute in their second song, this band creates mellow, wandering songs that evoke images even with sparse lyrics. The two songs they played for us on this session are singles from their upcoming record, which promises to be big on the local scene.
